Where to plan two eSIMs
At Addis Ababa (ADD) one plan covers fewer than half the onward countries, so travellers often need one eSIM for the stop and one for where they land. Phones hold several and you switch the data line in settings.
How we measure it
Every hour we read every multi-country plan in the Slashtel eSIM catalogue and the countries each one covers. For each hub we take the country it sits in, then count how many of 45 common onward countries (United Kingdom, Ireland, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Philippines and more) share at least one plan with it. A high score means a traveller changing planes there can usually buy one eSIM, install it at home on Wi-Fi, and be online both at the airport and on arrival without signing in to public wifi.
