Terms of Use
Last checked: August 2026
Last updated 24 August 2026. These Terms are our contract with you. Please read them — by placing an order on slashtel.com you agree to them. If you can't agree, please don't order. Bold words have the same meaning throughout.
1. Who we are and who you are
In short: Slashtel is run by Kael Tripton Ltd in London. 'You' is the person placing the order.
We / us / Slashtel means Kael Tripton Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17177071, ICO registration ZC135439), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. Slashtel is a trading name of Kael Tripton Ltd. You / your means the person who places an order and, for a recharge, the person you send it to. Service means slashtel.com and everything we sell or provide through it.
2. What we sell
In short: Prepaid data eSIMs and mobile recharges. We resell; the networks are not ours.
- Travel eSIM. A prepaid mobile data profile delivered digitally as a QR code and activation code. Data allowance, validity and covered countries are stated on the product page when you buy. Plans are data-only unless the page says otherwise.
- Mobile recharge. Prepaid credit or a plan sent to a mobile number or DTH account in another country. The amount the recipient gets is shown in local currency before you pay; what you pay, including our fee, is shown in your selected currency.
- We are a reseller. eSIM profiles and recharges are supplied through wholesale partners and delivered over networks we do not own or control. We do not guarantee a particular network, speed or coverage.
3. Ordering and payment
In short: Your order is placed when payment completes. Stripe handles cards. Prices are in the currency shown at checkout.
- An order is placed when you complete payment through our checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- Prices display in the currency you select; the currency actually charged is stated on the Stripe checkout page. Your bank may add its own conversion or fees.
- We may cancel an order and refund you in full if a product is unavailable, a pricing error occurred, or we reasonably suspect fraud.
4. Delivery
In short: eSIMs arrive by email within minutes. Recharges go to the operator immediately. Wrong email or number is your responsibility.
- eSIMs are delivered by email to the address you enter at checkout, normally within a few minutes, and are also shown on your order page. Delivery is complete when the email is sent.
- Recharges are sent to the operator immediately after payment. Delivery is complete when the operator confirms receipt.
- You are responsible for entering a correct email address and, for recharges, a correct recipient number. We cannot recover a recharge sent to a number you typed incorrectly.
5. Your device
In short: Your phone must support eSIM and be unlocked. Check before you buy.
You need a device that supports eSIM and is not locked to a network. Dialling *#06# and seeing an EID normally means the device supports eSIM. We publish a compatibility guide; checking is your responsibility. Refunds for incompatible devices are covered in section 7.
6. Using the service
In short: Data starts on first connection; unused data isn't refunded; fair use applies; no unlawful use.
- eSIM validity starts when the profile first connects to a network in a covered country, or on the "activate before" date on your order, whichever comes first, and runs continuously from then. Unused data is not carried over or refunded.
- Speed and coverage depend on the local partner network and your device. Fair-use rules of the local network apply. Tethering is allowed unless a product page says otherwise.
- You must not use the Service for anything unlawful, to send unsolicited messages, or to disrupt a network. We may suspend a profile if a partner or the law requires it.
7. Cancellation and refunds
In short: Unused eSIM — full refund. Installed eSIM — final. Recharge — irreversible. Faulty — we fix, replace or refund.
- Statutory cancellation. eSIMs and recharges are digital content and services supplied immediately. By completing checkout you ask us to start supply straight away and acknowledge that, once supply has begun, you lose the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This does not affect your rights if what we supply is faulty or not as described.
- eSIM, not installed. Full refund on request, normally within 2 working days. We verify installation status with our supplier.
- eSIM, installed or activated. Cannot be returned to our supplier; the sale is final, except where the product does not work as described and we cannot fix it.
- eSIM, device incompatible. If the profile is unused and cannot be installed because your device lacks eSIM support or is network-locked, we refund you.
- Recharge. Irreversible once delivered to the operator. If the operator rejects the transaction you are not charged, or are refunded in full.
- Service failure. If a correctly installed eSIM never connects in a covered country, contact us with your order number. We will work with the supplier to fix, replace or refund.
- Refunds go to the original payment method. Full detail: Refund policy.
8. Warranties and liability
In short: We're liable for foreseeable loss we cause, up to what you paid; not for network faults or business losses.
- We are responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care.
- Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law. Consumers' statutory rights, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, are unaffected.
- Subject to that, we are not liable for loss that was not foreseeable, loss caused by a network operator or third-party service, or loss of profit, business or data. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
9. Intellectual property
In short: We own the site; operator names belong to their owners.
We (and our licensors) own all rights in the Service, its design, code and content. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. Network and operator names are trade marks of their owners and are used only to identify services.
10. General
In short: English law; talk to us first; we'll flag material changes; the usual housekeeping.
- Disputes. Contact esim@slashtel.com or WhatsApp us first — most issues are resolved in minutes. These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction; consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings locally. You may also refer a dispute to an alternative dispute resolution body; we are not obliged to use one but will consider any reasonable request.
- Changes. We may update these Terms. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.
- Notices. To us: esim@slashtel.com. To you: the email on your order.
- Events outside our control. Neither of us is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including network operator or supplier outages.
- Other. If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest stands. We may transfer these Terms to a successor business with notice to you. Nothing creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship. These Terms, the Refund policy and the Privacy Notice are the whole agreement between us for the Service.

Questions, answered
Can I cancel an eSIM order after buying?
If the eSIM has not been installed on any device, yes — contact us and we refund in full. Once a profile is installed or activated it cannot be returned to our supplier, so the sale is final.
Can I cancel a recharge?
No. Recharges are delivered to the operator instantly and cannot be reversed. Double-check the number before you pay.
Which law applies?
The law of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms removes your statutory rights as a consumer.
