An international roaming pack from Jio or Vi keeps your Indian SIM registered on a network in Singapore: incoming calls, bank and UPI OTPs and WhatsApp codes keep arriving on the number you already have. The operator apps want an Indian card or UPI; here you pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay in your own currency and the pack lands on the line in about a minute.

Most people who top up a number in India also visit. Data from the moment you land, and fares for the trip, from the same place.
Bank OTPs, banking apps and ID verification all need your home SIM active. A small recharge every validity cycle keeps it working while you're abroad.
Parents' phone out of balance? Recharge it from here with your card and they get it before you've closed the tab.
Same Slashtel account as your travel eSIM. One WhatsApp support line for both. Data without borders, in both directions.
Enter the number and we detect the operator automatically. Plans and amounts shown are live from the operator.
Balance codes, customer care numbers and how long each India number stays active are on the India recharge page and each operator page (Airtel, Jio, Vi, BSNL).
Pay with a card from any country. Top up numbers in India with a Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay or Google Pay issued anywhere (debit or credit; prepaid and gift cards are not accepted). UPI needs an Indian bank account, and many Indian recharge sites and apps decline cards issued abroad.

You can recharge an Indian number from Singapore through Slashtel in a few minutes: choose India, enter the 10 digit mobile number, pick a plan and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You recharge an Indian number from Singapore by entering the 10 digit mobile number, choosing a plan and paying in a few taps. Slashtel sends the top up straight to the number, so your family does not need an app, a code or a visit to a shop. Airtel, BSNL, Jio and Vi numbers are all covered.
The number is the only detail you need. There is no account to create for the person receiving the top up, and no confirmation call to arrange.
You can repeat the same steps for another family member in India whenever you need to.
Indian prepaid plans range from small data packs to monthly bundles with unlimited calls. On this page you can see 32 plans, from a Vi 6 GB data pack at 89 INR for 14 days to a Jio plan with unlimited calls and 1.5 GB per day at 299 INR for 28 days. The amount shown is what lands on the number after the operator's tax.
Small packs suit a parent who mostly needs data. BSNL offers a 20 GB Data Pack at 105 INR for 7 days, a 40 GB Data Pack at 198 INR for 30 days, and a 200 Min + UL Data plan at 107 INR for 20 days. BSNL also lists unlimited calls with unlimited data at 147 INR for 25 days, 153 INR for 24 days and 219 INR for 28 days, plus unlimited calls with 2.5 GB per day at 225 INR for 30 days.
Monthly bundles cover calls and daily data together. Airtel lists unlimited calls plus 2 GB data at 199 INR for 28 days, and Vi lists unlimited calls plus 2 GB at the same 199 INR for 28 days. Jio has a 10 GB plan with subscriptions to 10 OTT apps at 175 INR for 28 days, and unlimited calls with 1.5 GB per day at 299 INR for 28 days.
A regular top up keeps an Indian number in use for calls, messages and banking codes. Many people in Singapore hold an Indian number for one time passwords and family contact, and an active plan keeps that number working. Choose a plan that matches how the number is used, and renew before the validity ends.
If the number is mainly for receiving messages, a small data pack or a short validity plan can be enough. If family members call each other on that number, a bundle with unlimited calls is more useful. BSNL plans on this page run from 7 to 30 days, so you can match the renewal to how often you send money home.
Keep the number and operator details saved so the next top up takes seconds. Slashtel detects the operator from the number each time, so you do not need to remember which network the SIM is on.
Indian mobile numbers have 10 digits. Enter them without the leading zero, so 081234 56789 becomes 81234 56789. In international form the number is +91 81234 56789, and the country code for India is 91.
Most failed top ups come from an extra digit or a leftover zero. Check the number against a message or call from your family before you pay. The operator is detected from the number, so a correct number also means the right network is chosen.
If you are unsure, ask the person in India to send their number in a message and copy it exactly.
You pay in a single checkout from Singapore using a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Top ups on this page start from $2.65, and the plan amount shown is what reaches the number after the operator's tax is applied. There are no extra steps for the person receiving the top up.
Prices on the page are listed in Indian rupees as the amount the number receives. Where a plan is taxed, the figure you see is the amount that lands after that tax, so your family gets the full value shown.
Slashtel sends the top up straight to the number once payment is confirmed. Keep the confirmation for your records and check the plan validity so you know when the next top up is due.
Use Slashtel, select India, enter the 10 digit mobile number and choose a plan. Pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The top up goes straight to the number and the operator is detected automatically. Airtel, BSNL, Jio and Vi numbers are supported.
