Longer packs include the 449 INR pack for 28 days with unlimited voice and 3GB per day, the 799 INR pack for 84 days with unlimited voice and 1.5GB per day, and the 3599 INR pack for 365 days with unlimited voice and 2.5GB per day. There is also a 1000 INR recharge with no fixed validity, and an international roaming voice and data pack at 1598 INR for 14 days.
Indian mobile numbers have 10 digits. The country code is 91. When a number is written with a leading zero, drop the zero before entering it. The number 081234 56789 is entered as 81234 56789, and in international form it appears as +91 81234 56789.
A wrong digit sends the top-up to another person's phone, and a completed recharge cannot be moved afterwards. Read the number back before paying, especially if it was sent in a message.
If the number is saved in your contacts with spaces or a plus sign, remove those characters. The field accepts digits only.
Most failures come from a mistyped number, a number that is not on Jio, or a payment that the bank declines. Check the number and the operator first, then try the payment again. If the recharge is pending, wait a few minutes before repeating it.
If the number has been inactive for a long time, Jio may not accept a recharge until the account is restored. In that case the top-up cannot be completed from abroad.
When a payment fails, no recharge is sent and the amount is not taken. If money leaves your account but no pack arrives, keep the confirmation and contact support with the number and the time of the order.

Under TRAI's Telecom Consumers Protection (Sixth Amendment) Regulations, 2013, which bind Jio and every Indian operator, a prepaid connection cannot be deactivated for any period of non-usage shorter than 90 days, is not deactivated at all while the balance is ₹20 or more, and after deactivation the same number can be reactivated within 15 days. Any incoming or outgoing call, outgoing SMS or data use counts as usage.
