An international roaming pack from Jio or Vi keeps your Indian SIM registered on a network in Kuwait: incoming calls, bank and UPI OTPs and WhatsApp codes keep arriving on the number you already have. The operator apps want an Indian card or UPI; here you pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay in your own currency and the pack lands on the line in about a minute.

Live from the operators, updated 2 November 2026. Prices are in US dollars and include our service fee; nothing is added at checkout. Enter the number above for the exact plans on that line.
Bank OTPs, banking apps and ID verification all need your home SIM active. A small recharge every validity cycle keeps it working while you're abroad.
Parents' phone out of balance? Recharge it from here with your card and they get it before you've closed the tab.
Same Slashtel account as your travel eSIM. One WhatsApp support line for both. Data without borders, in both directions.
Enter the number and we detect the operator automatically. Plans and amounts shown are live from the operator.
Balance codes, customer care numbers and how long each India number stays active are on the India recharge page and each operator page (Airtel, Jio, Vi, BSNL).
Pay with a card from any country. Top up numbers in India with a Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay or Google Pay issued anywhere (debit or credit; prepaid and gift cards are not accepted). UPI needs an Indian bank account, and many Indian recharge sites and apps decline cards issued abroad.
Country code +91: how to call India and its number format.
You can recharge an India number from Kuwait by entering the 10 digit mobile number and paying by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, with top ups starting at $2.65. Airtel, BSNL, Jio and Vi are all supported, and Slashtel detects the operator from the number itself. Plans include options such as 28 days of unlimited calls with 1.5GB per day on Jio.

Slashtel sends an India top up directly to the number you enter, paid from Kuwait by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You do not need an Indian bank account, and the operator is detected from the number, so Airtel, BSNL, Jio and Vi are all covered. The process takes a few minutes and the plan starts on the operator side.
Indian numbers are 10 digits and the country code is 91. You type the number once, choose a plan, and pay in the checkout. There is no app to install and no voucher code to send to your family by message.
There are 32 plans on this corridor, from small data packs to monthly combos. Vi offers 6 GB of data for 14 days at INR 89, BSNL has a 20 GB Data Pack at INR 105 for 7 days, and Jio gives unlimited calls with 1.5GB per day for 28 days at INR 299. Airtel and Vi both list unlimited calls with 2GB at INR 199 for 28 days.
BSNL has the widest spread here. Beyond the data packs, you can choose 200 minutes with unlimited data at INR 107 for 20 days, unlimited calls with unlimited data at INR 147 for 25 days, or the same at INR 153 for 24 days. The 40 GB Data Pack runs 30 days at INR 198, and unlimited calls with 2.5GB per day runs 30 days at INR 225.
Jio adds 10 GB with subscriptions to 10 OTT apps at INR 175 for 28 days. If your family mostly needs calls, the unlimited call plans from Airtel and Vi at INR 199 are simple to compare against the BSNL options at similar prices. Pick by how long the person needs the plan to last and how much data they use in a normal week.
An India number that sits unused can be taken back by the operator, and a small top up keeps it alive. If you live in Kuwait and want to hold on to a number for banking codes, family calls or a future return, a data pack or a short validity plan does that job without a large spend.
Many people keep a second India SIM purely for one time passwords and messages from banks. That number still needs a recharge now and then. A 14 day Vi data plan at INR 89 or a 7 day BSNL data pack at INR 105 is enough to keep things moving.
If the number is used for calls back to Kuwait, look at the unlimited call plans instead. The BSNL 200 minute plan at INR 107 for 20 days is a middle option between a pure data pack and a full monthly combo.
Enter the 10 digit India mobile number without the leading zero and without the country code. A number written as 081234 56789 is typed as 81234 56789. The country code is 91, so the international form is +91 81234 56789, but the checkout takes the national part only.
The leading zero is the part people get wrong most often. It appears in numbers written inside India, and it is dropped when the number is dialled or entered from abroad.
Check the number against a message from your family before you pay. Slashtel detects the operator from the number, so if the operator shown does not match what your family uses, the number is probably wrong.
Payment is by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, so you can pay from a Kuwait bank account or wallet without an India payment method. Top ups start at $2.65. The plan prices you see are the amounts that land on the number, and where a plan is taxed the figure shown is what arrives after the operator's tax.
The sample plans on this page are listed in INR because that is what the operator credits. A Vi 6 GB plan at INR 89 and a BSNL 40 GB Data Pack at INR 198 are both shown as the receive amount, so what you see is what reaches the number.
Prices were checked on 2026-10-29 and can change when operators revise their packs. Confirm the plan on the checkout screen before you pay. Top ups are sent to the number you enter, so check the digits carefully, as completed orders cannot be reversed.
Enter the 10 digit India number on Slashtel, choose a plan and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Airtel, BSNL, Jio and Vi are supported and the operator is detected from the number. Top ups start at $2.65 and there is no need for an Indian bank account.
Yes. Airtel is one of the four operators on this corridor. Airtel lists unlimited calls with 2GB of data at INR 199 for 28 days. Enter the number, check that Airtel appears as the detected operator, then pay from Kuwait by card or wallet.
Type the 10 digit BSNL number without the leading zero. BSNL plans include a 20 GB Data Pack at INR 105 for 7 days, unlimited calls with unlimited data at INR 147 for 25 days, and a 40 GB Data Pack at INR 198 for 30 days. Pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Use the 10 digit national number and drop the leading zero. A number written as 081234 56789 is entered as 81234 56789. The country code is 91, and the international form is +91 81234 56789, but the checkout takes only the national part.
Top ups start at $2.65. Plan values are shown in INR as the amount that lands on the number, from a Vi 6 GB plan at INR 89 to a Jio plan with unlimited calls and 1.5GB per day at INR 299 for 28 days. Prices were checked on 2026-10-29.
Up to KWD 2: BSNL UL calls + 2.5GB/day, 30 days ($5.78). Up to KWD 5: Jio 2 GB/day+UL calls, 56 days ($14.44). Up to KWD 10: Airtel UL Calls+2.5GB/Day, 84 days ($26.89). Converted at 0.31 KWD per $1 on 2 November 2026.

India (New Delhi) is 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of Kuwait City right now. Recharges are delivered around the clock, so the time of day does not matter.
Enter it with the country code +91. A number written locally as 081234 56789 becomes +91 81234 56789, so drop the leading 0 after the country code. Indian mobile numbers have 10 digits after the country code. The example is a format guide, not a real number.
Enter the number with the country code, pick a plan and pay by card. The operator is detected automatically and the credit goes straight to the phone. You do not need an account or a bank account in India.
Yes. Visa, Mastercard and other major debit and credit cards issued in Kuwait and most other countries are accepted.
Yes. Slashtel tops up any prepaid number in India, your own or a family member's. You only need the number; the person does not need an account.
Recharges are delivered instantly and cannot be reversed once they reach a valid number, so check the number before you pay. If the operator rejects the number, Slashtel resends or refunds you in full.
Prices on this page are in US dollars and include the Slashtel service fee. At checkout your card may be shown and charged in your local currency, and the exact amount is confirmed before you pay.
Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe with 3D Secure where your bank supports it, and Slashtel never sees or stores your full card details.
Most recharges arrive within a few minutes. If the phone is switched off, the credit lands when it next connects. You get a confirmation email with your order reference.
If the operator rejects the recharge, we resend it. If it still can't be delivered, write to esim@slashtel.com or message us on WhatsApp with your order reference and we'll sort it out.
