Use the 10 digit national number, such as 222 123 4567. Mexico's country code is 52, so the international form is +52 222 123 4567. There is no leading zero to drop. A wrong digit can send the credit to a different person, so read the number back before paying.
Most mistakes come from copying a number with spaces in odd places or adding extra digits. Type the digits only and let the form handle the rest.
If the number is saved in your contacts in international format, remove the +52 part and enter the remaining 10 digits. The operator is then detected from those digits.
Most failed top ups come from a mistyped number, a card that your bank declined, or a number that is not an active Bait line. Check the number digit by digit first, then try another payment method. If the payment went through but the credit has not arrived, contact support with the number and the payment reference.
Do not resend the same top up several times in a row without checking. If the first attempt was declined, the credit was not sent, so a second attempt with a corrected number or a different card is safe.
