AT&T Mexico uses the country dial code 52. A Mexican mobile number has 10 digits, for example 222 123 4567. When you enter it on Slashtel, you do not need to add the country code or a leading zero. The system reads the number, identifies AT&T and shows the recharge options that are available for that line.
This is useful if you live in the United States and pay for a family member's phone in Mexico, or if you are travelling and want to add credit to your own Mexican prepaid line. The person receiving the credit does not need to do anything. The balance appears on their phone.
AT&T Mexico prepaid recharges range from MX$10 to MX$1,000, depending on the line. The amount you select is the amount that lands on the phone. There is no operator tax deducted from the recharge, so the full value is added as credit. Plans differ by country and appear once the number is entered.
