You can recharge a Ghana number from the UAE online in a few minutes: enter the Ghanaian mobile number, pick an operator such as MTN, Telecel or AirtelTigo, choose a plan and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Plans start at $2.56, and Slashtel detects the operator from the number itself. AirtelTigo Ghana data recharge from the UAE is one of 28 plans available.

Recharging a Ghana number from the UAE takes a few minutes online. You enter the Ghanaian mobile number, the operator is detected from that number, you pick a plan and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. No app download is needed and the top-up goes straight to the number.
The top-up is sent to the number you entered. Keep the confirmation so you can check the order with the person receiving it in Ghana.
Some plans carry the operator's tax. Where that applies, the amount shown in the plan label is what lands on the phone after that tax has been taken.
The plan list covers 28 options across MTN, Telecel and AirtelTigo, mostly data bundles with a few airtime options. Small bundles start around 880 MB and the larger ones reach 6 GB. Each plan shows what the recipient receives and how long it lasts, so you can match the top-up to how the phone is used.
AirtelTigo Ghana data plans include 880 MB Data, 1.1GB for 5 days, 2GB for 4 days, 2.4GB for 5 days, 1.7 GB Data, 4.4 GB Data and 6 GB Data for 15 days. These suit a phone that is used mainly for messaging and browsing.
Telecel Ghana data plans include 990 MB for 15 days, 2.5GB for 5 days, 2.4 GB for 30 days and 6 GB for 30 days. The 30 day options work well for a relative who needs a steady data supply across the month.
MTN Ghana data includes 1.33GB Video Mobile Data. If you are sending airtime rather than data, the MTN, Telecel and AirtelTigo airtime options are listed alongside the bundles.
A Ghana number stays useful when you live in the UAE. It keeps family able to reach the person at home, keeps mobile money and bank alerts arriving, and holds the line open for a return visit. A small top-up from time to time is often all that is needed to keep the number in use.
Many people in the UAE top up a parent's or sibling's number in Ghana rather than sending cash for the same purpose. A data bundle lets the person at home use WhatsApp calls and messages to reach you, which costs less than a voice call across the distance.
Think about how the number is used before you choose. A phone that sits at home on Wi-Fi most of the day needs less data than one that is used for streaming and video. The 30 day Telecel plans and the 15 day AirtelTigo plans cover different habits, so check the validity before you buy.
Ghana mobile numbers use the country code 233 and have 9 digits after it. The local number is written with a leading zero, such as 023 123 4567, but the zero is dropped in international format. So 023 123 4567 becomes +233 23 123 4567. Entering the number in the wrong format is the most common reason a top-up fails.
If you are given the number as 023 123 4567, remove the first zero and add 233 in front. If the person gives you the number already starting with +233, you can enter it as it is.
Check the digits before you pay. A single wrong digit can send the top-up to a different number, and the operator will not reverse it. Read the number back to the person in Ghana if you are unsure.
You pay in the checkout with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and the plan price is shown before you confirm. Plans start at $2.56. The price you see is the price for that plan, and the plan label tells you what the recipient receives in Ghana.
Prices are listed per plan, so a 10 GHS receive value, a 15 GHS receive value, a 20 GHS receive value or a 50 GHS receive value each maps to a different plan price. Choose the plan by what the person in Ghana needs, not by the smallest number on the page.
Where a plan is taxed by the operator, the amount that lands on the phone is the amount after that tax, and the plan label shows that landing amount. Check the order confirmation after payment and share the details with the recipient so they can confirm the bundle arrived.
Enter the Ghana mobile number, check the operator that Slashtel detects, choose a plan and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The top-up is sent straight to the number, so no app is needed on the Ghana phone.
Yes. AirtelTigo Ghana data plans are listed among the 28 options, including 880 MB Data, 1.1GB for 5 days, 2GB for 4 days, 2.4GB for 5 days, 4.4 GB Data and 6 GB Data for 15 days.
Use the country code 233 and drop the leading zero. A local number such as 023 123 4567 becomes +233 23 123 4567. Ghana numbers have 9 digits after the country code, so check the digits before paying.
Plan prices start at $2.56 and each plan is priced separately. The label shows what the recipient receives, and where the operator applies tax, the amount shown is what lands on the phone after that tax.
