Cameroon uses the dial code 237, and Orange numbers have 9 digits after that code, for example 6 71 23 45 67. Type the number as it appears on the phone, without adding or removing a leading zero. The operator is then detected from the number, so a correct entry avoids most failed top-ups.

If you are unsure of the number, ask the person to read it back to you or send it in a message. A single wrong digit can send the top-up to a different line.
