Egyptian mobile numbers have 10 digits and begin with a zero in national form. The international form drops that zero and adds the country code 20, so 010 01234567 becomes +20 10 01234567. Entering the number in either form works, and the operator is detected from it.
The most common mistake is keeping the leading zero when writing the number in international form. If you paste a number that already starts with +20, leave it as it is. If you type the national version, the zero is expected.
Check the digits before paying. A number with a missing or extra digit will not match a Vodafone line, and the top-up cannot be delivered to a number that does not exist. The confirmation screen shows the number you entered, so it is worth reading it once more before completing the order.
Most failed orders come from a mistyped number, a payment that was not authorised, or a temporary issue on the operator side. Check the number first, then the payment method, and try again. If the number is correct and the payment went through, the balance usually arrives shortly after.
