Colombian mobile numbers have 10 digits in national format, for example 321 1234567. The country code is 57, so the international form is +57 321 1234567. Claro is one of four main operators in Colombia, next to Movistar, Tigo and WOM, so check the line is Claro before paying.
Claro Colombia offers two kinds of top-up here: plain airtime and bundles with minutes, data or both. Airtime arrives as balance in COP, and bundles carry a fixed validity in days. The amount you see is what lands on the phone, with no separate fee added on top by the operator.
Airtime comes in three amounts: 20534 COP, 41068 COP and 61602 COP. This is open balance the person can use as they choose on the Claro line.
Bundles are more specific. Short options include 300 minutes for 2 days at 4000 COP, 2GB with unlimited social for 7 days at 5000 COP, and 1.4GB with unlimited social and Salud for 6 days at 10000 COP. A 7 day bundle gives 2GB with unlimited social, Win and Prime for 11000 COP, and 10GB with unlimited minutes and SMS for 7 days costs 14000 COP. There is a 1000 minute pack at 18500 COP, 30GB with Win and Prime for 30 days at 35000 COP, and TI 80GB for 30 days at 100000 COP.
Enter the Claro number as 10 digits, such as 321 1234567, and leave the 57 country code out of the number field. The international form is +57 321 1234567. A wrong digit sends the top-up to a different line, and that cannot be undone once it is delivered.
Colombian mobile numbers do not drop a leading zero, so keep all 10 digits as they appear on the phone. Do not add spaces or symbols inside the field.
Check the number against a recent message or call from your family member before you pay. Slashtel detects the operator from the number, so if the detected operator is not Claro, stop and recheck the digits.
Most failed top-ups come from a mistyped number, a line that is not Claro, or a payment that the bank declined. Check the 10 digits first, then confirm the operator detected on screen. If the payment was declined, try another card or a wallet method.
If the number is correct and the payment went through but nothing arrives, allow some time and then ask the person to check their balance. Keep your confirmation details ready when you contact support.
